HOW TO SHARE SSH CUSTOM VPN CONNECTION WITH PC

SSC stands for SSH Custom which is a VPN app developed by the same people who made HTTP Custom.

With SSC you can easily create different VPN configurations as profiles and connect to each of them, either at once or at separate times.

With the limitation given by HTTP Custom to only have the ability to connect to one server at a time, SSC comes with the solution of configuring various profiles with different servers and switching between those servers at will, without manually changing the server setting over and over again.

One lovely thing asides those mentioned above about SSC, is the ability to share your VPN connection from the app without any third party app.

Now let's get into the business of sharing your VPN connection via SSC to your PC, following these simple steps

STEPS

1. Connect your PC to your phone's hotspot

Steps 2 through 4 are to be carried out on your phone

2. Open the SSC app and go to 'Settings', which is the gear sign located at the top right of the screen

3. Toggle on 'ShareNet' on the list of settings given to you

4. Take note of the numbers below 'ShareNet' - The numbers before the colon (:) is the proxy IP address,  and the numbers after the colon (:) represent Port/Proxy Port

Steps 5 through 8 are to be carried out on your PC

5. On your PC, go to the settings app and click on 'Network and Internet'

6. On the left side of the screen, click on 'Proxy', to go to the proxy settings

7. Scroll down a bit and toggle on 'Use a Proxy Server'

8. Now fill in the 'Proxy' and 'Port' Fields with the information gotten from Step 4

In my case,

Proxy - 192.168.106.215
Port is always 7071

As long as you are sharing directly from the SSC app

Finally click on 'Save' and you are good to go. You can now browse using the VPN connection From SSC.
