AetherSX2 is a free offline android app that has the ability to emulate a PlayStation 2 on your phone, thereby letting you play PS2 games on your android Phone.

HOW TO SET UP AETHERSX2

First of all, you’d need to download the app. Click here

Now open the app and follow these steps.

Click “Next”

Click “Next” again

Choose “Optimal/Safe Defaults” (to be on the safe side)

Choose “Expand to Cutout Area” to keep it at full screen

For “Aspect Ratio” I chose Stretch (I like the UI at full screen)

For “Emulation Screen Orientation”, choose Landscape

Leave the other settings as they are and click “Next”

For BIOS, I’ve got two BIOS files for you

• PS2 USA BIOS 
• PS2 Europe BIOS

Import BIOS files from the directory they’ve been saved

Select the BIOS you’ve imported and click “Next”

Click the plus + sign select a folder where you’ve chosen to save your PS2 games

Click “USE THIS FOLDER” and click “Next”

Click on “FINISH”

To Launch your game, choose your game from the list of various games you have saved in your directory.
